Today, Marcello's bilirubin came back within an acceptable range and therefore the phototherapy light was removed as well as his goggles. His weight came up a little to 1 lb 5 oz. We got a bit of a
surprise today as Mommy was able to hold him in her hands for the first time. We were able to assist with the changing of the bed linens diaper change. We have a video below that you can view of Mommy's experience.

Manuel's bilirubin came back a little high today, so he was placed back on phototherapy. He was also switched to jet ventilation today to help with his lung development. He came down a bit in his weight to 1 lb 1oz but this can be attributed to his high urine output and the fact that he is not yet on any fats with his diet.
We are thankful for all the prayers and ask that you continue to keep them in your prayers. each day we have with them is a blessing and we are so thankful to be able to have yet another day with our two little miracles.
